ABOUT

HALEY SCOTT

Author. Advocate. Veteran. Scholar-practitioner.

Haley Scott is an author, advocate, U.S. Army veteran, former Division I athlete, and doctoral student in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her work explores the intersections of psychology, leadership, resilience, chronic illness, trauma, and systemic reform.

As the creator of The Unquiet Mind, Haley writes with a voice that is poetic, analytical, and bold, offering language for people who have survived what they were never supposed to carry quietly.

Her children’s book, The Medium Boy and the Big, Bright Feelings, centers emotional intelligence and mental health for young readers, while her broader writing speaks to those navigating anxiety, grief, identity, invisible illness, and institutional harm.

Haley’s work blends lived experience, research, advocacy, and truth-driven storytelling to create space for healing, accountability, and change.
